Prerequisites, Fees & Dates

Course Pre-requisites

  • Students must be over the age of 18.
  • Some experience of Pilates classes is highly recommended, either on the Mat or apparatus.
  • The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential; therefore, a degree of physical fitness is necessary.
  • There is also an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2.
  • We welcome applications from older adults looking for a career change and those approaching early retirement.
  • We are often looking for teachers to work at our studio in St Annes, so there is the potential to begin earning on completion of the course.
  • We encourage you to read through all of the information carefully and to contact us to discuss your particular situation.  Prior to booking we will have an informal chat on the phone so that we can make sure you understand the requirements of the course.  We want you to be successful and we also want to make sure that we are a good fit for you personally.

Fees and course dates.

Full price £2010 (payment in instalments of £670 non-refundable deposit payable at time of booking, and four equal instalments of £335 payable prior to completion of the course).

Early bird price payable in full at time of booking £1800 before 31 January 2018 (spring course), 20 July (Autumn course).

Add Reformer 1 and 2 to your full early bird price and receive a discount – total £2460 (for full Mat course and Reformer 1 and 2).

Fees include all student manuals, the online learning platform, all teaching hours, the examinations and certification through Active IQ (our chosen awarding body for the Level 3 Matwork Diploma).

  • Depending on your training provider, non-IPP students will need to apply and demonstrate teaching experience and knowledge prior to being accepted for large equipment training.  This is because our Matwork course goes beyond the Level 3 content.

Early bird price payable in full at time of booking £3,300 or spread the cost with £600 deposit and 10 monthly payments of £300. This price includes the Level 3 Mat Pilates Diploma.

The individual large equipment units can be completed separately as CPD workshops instead of as part of the comprehensive training, which is useful if you’re unsure whether you will be working in a studio environment or purely offering mat classes.
